Yellow Cake

Yellow Cake

2 1/2 C flour
2 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt

2/3 C butter
1 3/4 C sugar
1 1/2 tsp vanilla

2 eggs

1 1/4 C milk

Oven to 375.

Grease and lightly flour appropriate cake tins.

Combine first group, set aside.

Cream second group.  Add eggs, one at a time, beating 1 minute after each.

Add dry ingredients and milk alternately, mixing on low until just combined.

Pour into pans and bake for 30-35 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.

Oven to 375.
