Hawaiian Banana Bread

Hawaiian Banana Bread

1 1/4 C flour
1 C sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 C shortening
3 small bananas or 1 C puree
2 eggs

Oven to 350.  Grease and flour a 9" square pan.

Mix dry ingredients.  Put shortening, bananas and eggs in blender and whirl until smooth.  Add puree mixture to dry ingredients and mix only until moistened.  Spoon into pan and bake 40 minutes.
