Ham and Swiss Strata

Butter a 9x13 dish and layer, in order . . .

8 slices white bread, crusts removed, and cubed
1 1/2 C diced ham
1 1/2 C shredded swiss cheese
1 small onion, chopped
1 C sliced mushrooms

Whisk together . . .
8 eggs
2 C milk
4 Tb butter, melted
1/2 tsp dry mustard

Pour over bread and cover.  Refrigerate overnight.  Uncover and bake for 50 minutes at 350.  Let stand for 5 before serving.
