2 C flour
2 tsp baking powder
3/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/4 C butter
1 C buttermilk (or soured w/vinegar is fine)

Blend dry, cut in butter, mix in milk.

475 for 10 minutes.

Fab with jam for breakfast!
